What to Expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and knowing what to expect can make the process a little easier. We’ll begin with a free 25-minute consultation to talk briefly about what brings you to therapy, what you’re looking for, and whether working together seems like a good fit.

If we decide to work together, you’ll receive brief online intake forms before your first appointment. Your first session is an evaluation session, where we’ll discuss current concerns, relevant history, relationships, experiences, and what you hope to get from therapy.

You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out or know exactly what your therapy goals should be. We can develop those together.
